Wood World Furniture Delivery Information
We offer in store pickups for order placed online. And, we also provide economically priced delivery service for Sydney metro area at extra cost. (outside Sydney Rate)
Our truck delivery charges start at $35.00 depending on where you live
What is an Estimated Delivery Date?
In general, most of our orders will be shipped in 2~4 working days if item in stock (not including unfinished American Oak furniture and local made furniture as they need more time to process). Please note that this is not a guaranteed delivery date for your order. Alternatively, you will be advised the estimated date for the delivery. We do try to meet the estimated delivery dates, however there are times where we are unable to do this and your delivery date will be different.

Our delivery service is mainly in Sydney Metropolitan area. We use 3rd party transport services for deliveries to other areas. If your order is handled by 3rd party delivery services, the estimated delviery date is subject to their availability.
What is included in the truck delivery service?

-A two-person delivery team if we classify as ‘large’ deliveries.
-Deliver your order into your home (ground floor only), into the room of your choice
-Upstairs delivery (Additional charges may apply)
-Removal of old appliances or mattress if needed (Additional charges may apply. Scheduling this service in advance is required.)
Delivery Charge Rate

1) 10 km or less from our Villawood factory

 Our charge is $35 per ground floor delivery (one man delivery). 

 Free delivery is offered but only for orders over $500 within the delivery distance of 10 KM from our store. (Free delivery is limited to 1-man delivery job. Extra $30 will apply if 2-man for the free delivery is required.)

2) Additional $30 charges will apply for upstairs delivery.

* Special fixed rate for delivery to Wollongong: One man delivery $100.00 per delivery (ground floor)
Who needs to accept or sign for my delivery?
Either you or your representative/proxy that is 18 years of age or older, must be present to receive the merchandise at the agreed upon day and time window.
If no one is available to receive the delivery, a re-delivery fee may be applied to your order.
In most cases,driver will give you a ring prior to delivery. If you agree to leave in the front door, you must leave a authority letter there to indicate this. We will not be able to be responsible for the loss after delivered. 
Delivery Outside Sydney Metro Rate

We often organise furniture delivery jobs thru third-party furniture delivery services. We simply help our customers to arrange their orders to be delivered by them and you will be paying the delivery fee direct to the driver when goods are carried to you. Prices are indicative and subject to change, based on quotation from the drivers / transport companies .

  All the 3rd party transport services are independently owned and operated.

Goods Damaged / Products missing in Transit

It is important you check your goods as soon as received. In the unfortunate event that the furniture arrives damaged or products missing, to be entitled to a replacement the customer must speak to the driver and ring the store or staff member straight away. Wood World Furniture will arrange to have the damaged goods returned by the same driver and will advise when the item will be replaced.

All orders must be paid in FULL prior to shipment; this can only exclude the delivery fee if you would like pay delivery fee by cash onsite. If you choose Cash On Delivery payment, the delivery fee needs to be paid in advance and the rest can only be paid by CASH or Bank Cheque when goods are carried to you.

Flat-packed furniture installation is not included.
